His STORY

Jack Donald Lewis, known simply as "Don" to family and friends, was an entrepreneur, a joker, a jack of all trades, a man of faith, a father, a husband,

a brother, and a loving son.

Born to a hardworking single mother of three in the small town of Dade City, Florida, Don forged his own path to success by relying on his intelligence, street smarts, and a strong will that has been inherited by even his smallest great-granddaughter.

While Don experienced many blessings in his life, he was no stranger to suffering.

In August of 1997, following a series of suspicious events, Don went missing, never again to be seen by his family.

The popularity of the Netflix documentary Tiger King has sparked renewed interest in Don's case, and while we may never know the whole truth, we have renewed hope in achieving justice and, at the very least, some long overdue closure.

To everyone who has donated their time, energy, and resources to searching for clues, thank you. To everyone who heard his story and looked beyond the sensational details and saw the very real loss, thank you.

Please join us on August 15th for a Celebration of Life, followed by an ice-cream social (Don would be having butter pecan!). If you cannot join us in person, visit this YouTube channel on August 15th to stream the event live.
